Problem is, you get in a wreck and fly through your windshield, there's nobody left in your truck to stop it from hitting the kids standing at the bus stop up the street. The law isn't to protect you, it's to protect everyone else on the road. That's why they don't require seatbelts or helmets on motorcycles. You're only going to kill your own dumb *** on a bike.
