Default Big Lake Virgin

get your minds out the gutter guys, it is a fishing story

Made the run over to the lake for the first time this Saturday. Launched at Calcasieu Point - pretty impressed with that setup over there. Very nice facilities. I guess we were in Turner's Bay because there were plenty of boats around! Good day, wind wasn't too bad, and people were fairly respectable other than the guy in the aluminum cc that cut some fella in a Blue Wave off and got a tongue lashing for it. Drifted and caught everything on jerk jrs. Damn things really glow too! I went out to the garage and it was dark out there and they were glowing away Had a couple gulls diving and go to them and it was a school of reds. pulled 3 out that were in the eating size range, the rest were bulls so we left em alone after stretching our line on a few of the big ones. Good times

Nice mess of fish you got there. :-) Glad to see you got that cherry pop'd. ;-)

It's truly a great lake to fish in.
