Just weighed myself, 236.4. The wife and I started walking around the neighborhood yesterday, will start jogging Wednesday then after a couple weeks I wanna start jogging in the morning and walking in the evening. I also started taking the stairs up to our office on the 3rd floor instead of the elevator so that should help a little bit as well. I'd like to get below 200, been awhile since I've seen 19....

Just thought I would let everyone know that I am 41 pounds down today. Still have 40 more to go but I am still proud to have hit the 230's. One more pound and I will be in the 20's!

Since I was finally able to really get things kicked off about 1 1/2 or 2 weeks ago, I'm down 5 lbs to 231 and that's just by watching what I eat really. Today I'm starting to walk/jog around the subdivision so hopefully they start coming off a little quicker now.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I am officially 60 lbs lighter, as of this morning. I have been jogging 4 miles a day since sometime in January until two weeks ago when I started P90X. I have seen dramatic changes in my ability to do the workouts in just two times doing them. I am loving these workouts thus far because they kick my butt. Anyone wanting to get started on a this lifestyle change just needs to make up your mind and do it. The emotional and physical changes you go through make giving up all that bad for you food worth it. I still eat good food, I just eat less of it and not as often. Good luck to anyone else who is on this journey, I still have another 20 lbs or so before I will be happier.

Awesome job Lucas! I did P90X for about a month but with my work schedule it was too hard to stay in the routine because I would have to skip a few days every now and then. It's definitely a badass workout though!

I'm still at it too, down 36lbs. Good to see someone else sticking with it.

between this thread and the QUIT SMOKING THREAD...i have finally made the jump and decided to begin my beast mode and hopefully giving up cigarettes for good. I'm not too bad off, just decided to not let it get any worst then it already is.

My main objective sounds somewhat easy. I'm already at my ideal target weight, 185, just not the 185 i want to be..lol. tomorrow morning i will be signing up to the gym, so hopefully that'll keep my mind off the marlboros.

im hoping between summer school and the gym, my urges to smoke will be kaput ASAP...

also will be starting to eat oatmeal/cereal/whole grains in the morning and to up my meals and take whey and multivitamins---

Booya, if you really want to stop smoking, try Chantrex. My wife used it and quit after 40 years of smoking. She said it was painless and worked great.
