I talked to my trawler buddy and he made his season the first week in Pelto. Big Shrimp too. 15-20's to 26-30's. He skims at night. My cousin caught some 36-40's around Dulac but I'm not sure where.

It can get kind of shallow and reefy around the islands I would probably concentrate on passes,in the open bays near ship channels, and in front of the beach . I don't really know much about pulling a trawl but that's Where I see all the commercial shrimp boats at.
