Bought a new to me skeeter a few weeks back and have been doing some trouble shooting and fixer uping to get her where i want. Finally, yesterday i decided i was ready to hit there river. Headed out of white oak around 7. Headed north and the water was stained with maybe 4 inches visibility south of bayou serpent. Went into the high line dead end ditch. Water got better (8-9 inches) visiblity. Water wasn't moving a lot. Threw a blk/blu poppin frog without any luck. Threw a blk/blu worm, nothing. Spinner bait nothing. Started coming back out and got to the intersection where the highline ditch and dead end four corners. Threw all listed above, nothing. Picked up a citrus blue 5xd and caught two small kentuckys. Fished around a few more places without anything. Left at 1. Even threw a jig. Moral to the story is, boat ran good! The end
