Default Uh Oh

There are 2 bills being railroaded thru this session.
HB144 Gives away access claims to any restored coastal / marsh property ,even though Public money is being spent to restore so called private or public property.

SB129 allows that ,if you own property in the marsh and that property is land / water locked by land / waters that are claimed to be private.
You will have to pay land / water owners to access your property.
So if you have to cross 3 different land owners property ,you must pay all 3 of them . Or until you hit a recognized public waterway.
some of y'all didn't listen when i talked about this before. I will be at the capitol Tue. and wed. along with other members of the Louisiana sportsman's coalition to speak against these bills.
We have a meeting of the coalition Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm At the BASS pro shops meeting room in Denham springs if you are interested in attending.
Get ready . all the beaches along the coast in south west Louisiana will need repair in the next few years . when they repair it you lose it.
