Default Towing a yak

I don't have a boat big enough to put my yak in and many of my friends have small boats so I was wondering of anyone has ever towed a yak behind a boat?

Can't help you out there, other than saying I have heard of it being done...

What size and brand yak? I've never towed one but I've seen people do it. How far would you be going? Some one told me that towing them backwards is better b/c of the weight issue. They tend to skip and bounce around more if towed forwards.

That's the exact one I was told to tow backwards. Something about the front being too sharp and it won't lift the front to keep it out of the water.
