Wildwood has some nice cabins from what I've been told, plus they have stocked ponds if the lake is too rough. It's on San Miguel. Shady Oaks on Lanann has nice log cabins but no launch. Turtle Beach on Negreet has decent cabins, but the road there from hwy 191 is kind of bad but Harry has a protected area to park boats on the water but I sure wouldn't leave rods or tackle in the boat overnight. I've heard Bridge Bay (or Bay Bridge, not sure) just before Pendleton Bridge on Hwy 6 is nice too. I'm not sure about farther south or the Texas side.

My family just stayed at North Toledo Bend State Park for a family reunion. We stayed in our camper but our relatives rented several of the cabins and they were very nice.
