Can anyone say "made in China"! Just like everything, same product just rebranded.

Default hate to bash it

i bought some of those lures in spring i think when the guy selling them was on facebook. I might be using them wrong but i tested them in a pool to see the action and it was terrible. i have not fished with them as a result. hopefully you will have better results. I am referring to the ones from realdatlures. the ones from academy are much heavier from vudu and sink really quickly. would be ok in high wind conditions but if calm i would rather vudu

i also bought the savage gear shrimp. The difference i see in that compared to the vudu is the tail. the savage has a tip that is raised on the tail that seems to make the tail curl a little when popped under a cork. I was hoping it would have a little more action when retrieved without a cork but i didnt notice one. I really liked the look under a cork. I fished with it last weekend and it did get tons of action. the problem was that i missed a lot. I believe its because of the style hook. Im not sure trout hit it hard enough to expose the hook all the time. Im going to put some super glue on it next time to leave the barb exposed at all times. I am a fan of the vudu but i like to try new lures just to see what i think. I just wish vudu made a glow and chart instead of a pearl.
