Default Custom or off the shelf

Alright I need a few opinions. I'm trying to decide on rods to pair up with a couple Chronarch reels I just picked up. I've always bought off the shelf but have never found the "perfect" rod. These will mainly be used for fishing soft plastics for specks, reds and if I'm lucky doormats. So light, fast and sensitive. Also if I can stay under $200 that would be great but if not it is what it is. Custom? Online? Big box?

Thanks in advance.

Go with Chief. Great looking rods that won't break the bank.
I Can honestly say that they will be build better than an off the rack rod.

Hate to agree with chub the kistler KLx rods are incredible for a rod under $200 no custom rod can touch it for 169-189. Many models to choose from to fit your style
of fishing.

Laguna has the "liquid series" line of rods that are priced right around $200. Havent seen any pictures but are supposed to be made out the same blanks as their full custom rods.
