Default Inside Ant Control With Pets

It has been hot and dry up here and the ants have been coming in. Cooler temps, water idk. Get home from work and a battalion of them are marching across the floor. We have a free range ferret so harsh chemicals are not an option. This does work if you have inside pets. 2/4 ozs of dawn with about half vinager and half water for the next 12 ozs. Kills them little bastards when sprayed and the ones that don't get it avoid it like the plauge.

Same here, I use Martins PreMetherin. It comes in a liquid form, you mix it in a potato pump and apply it. As far as outside goes if you really mad at the ants give them some Tal-Star granules. I promise them ants going to pile up in your yard or your neighbors yard for 6 months. I buy a 50lb sack and it last 3 applications but I don't have a big yard.

I just bought some at Ranch Outlet last weekend. You can treat the yard, kennel area, and actually use it on your pets.

Really good instructions on the bottle for how to dilute and use for various applications.

I buy mine at Raceland Ag.

Tal-Star is about $40 for a 50lb sack, I can apply it to my yard 3-4 times before running out. My lost is 80'x125' with a 125'x12' driveway so I really don't have much grass.

Martins Premetherin is $8-10 for a 12oz bottle. It goes a long way too. When i see spiders on the outside I spray everything outside and the spiders go away..... which helps with wasp problems too. Wasp eat spiders if theres no spiders to eat the wasp stay away too.

Best thing you can do is for pest control is let some Geckos loose around your house, they eat small bugs and are cool to look at.
