Some of Today's Easter Sunday Eats
Alright so the rolls rose and they aren't the prettiest but they sure tasted pretty darn good. After twenty minutes in the oven. Each little clove so to say came apart easily for buttering and eating. I love these! The stuffed artichokes warmed. Lasagna baked. The wife wasn't happy with how it looked when it was finished but my stomach can attest to how good it was. I couldn't stop eating it! It had some of my homemade Italian sausage made into the layers of deliciousness. Baked Eggplant dressing with shrimp amd lump crabmeat. A beautiful and delicious strawberry salad with feta and a strawberry poppyseed vinaigrette. Mmmmm........ And of course you've GOT to have dyed Easter eggs. Especially if you any kind of a respectable Cajun that still practices the art of pocking eggs. http://www.neworleansmomsblog.com/2014/04/14/knockin-eggs-a-cajun-easter-tradition/ Even the dogs got in on a little egg action to celebrate Easter. Here they are pooped out. Pickles guarding a couple of Easter eggs. |
