Default Another limit east of Grand Isle (12 May)

Well... The first time in a month that I got skunked on the beach. I chalk it up to the tide and lunar pattern. Moved inland to the camps and stumbled over a hole that was about 7 feet deep next to a newly constructed or rebuilt camp. Threw a double rig with matrix shrimp Creole and pink champagne and bammmmm a double hook up with 15" trout. Started throwing doubles in the boat for about 10 minutes and scored another limit.

I hung out for another 30 minutes slinging them in the boat... Tagging and releasing until I was worn out.

Started the day at 0600 and picked up my anchor at 1100 to head home. Damn I love May fishing in GI

Way to stick with it. Good report.
We typically do well on the up-current side, but not a guarantee either.
Are you making that run from GI?
Headed to GI on Friday for a 2 week stay. :-)
