Default Big Lake 5/21/16 Afternoon trip

Pulled my carb and cleaned it this afternoon and had it all together and running at 2:30, decided to go put it in the water. Launched at Cal. Pt at 3:30 and was back at 6:15 due to weather coming in and not wanting to take a risk. Ended one short of my trout limit but caught dozens of 11 3/4" fish. Lake has a lot of small fish and had to throw 3 or 4 back for every keeper. Water wasn't the best but was fishable and the trout were hungry! Lots of bait and shrimp, match the hatch! Mostly caught drifting over reefs, all on artificial.

It's good to know the big lake fishery is alive and well with all of the juvenile trout out there. Thanks for the report!
