Here are the 1st (23#s), 2nd (21#s) and 3rd (20#s) teams statements from the night tournament last weekend. A good friend of mine fished it but didn't fair so well. Good Luck

1st - The team reported catching their fish on the new V&M Wild Thing worm in red bug. The team weighted the worms with 5/8 tungsten weights and fished grass points in 14 to 17 feet of water. Jeane commented that they caught fish early and then late in the night with a long period of dead time in between.

2nd - The team caught their fish early on humps and ridges in 14 to 27 feet of water. 1 ounce Black/ blue/purple Stanley jigs were the bait of choice for the team. Williamson and Campbell caught 15 to 20 keepers before the fishing slowed down for them.

3rd - The team fished grass lines in 19 feet of water on the south end of the lake. Powell reported catching their fish on red 1 ounce jigs and cherry seed Ole Monster worms. The team caught 15 fish which included only 6 keepers throughout the night. The big bite was their first fish of the evening.

I am going up July 4th to do some night fishing... check your solunar tables. They have been pretty accurate lately. A little additional noise added by beads, rattles, or inserts is a good thought.
