Bounce spring flounder run remains very impressive

The spring flounder run remains very impressive with the flat fish being caught in the back bays and marshes. During the early spring migration most of the tasty fish run in the pound to two pound category with an occasional bigger one. The larger ones usually are caught during the fall run starting as early as October. The best baits have been Berkley Gulp rigged on light lead heads and bounced along the bottom. Some good catches of speckled have been caught over shell reefs. Here are some pictures from the past few days
