Well ran about 20 mile out weather was suppose to be 1ft WRONG its was 3 to 4. Boat handle great but had my old *** uncle with us on the boat. It was a rough boat ride with the wave. Couldn't hook up to the rig due to the wave so we drifted and caught nothing but hard head.

Ran back to sw pass around 10 and caught 2 huge bull reds and a huge channel cat. Water was muddy, started to look green around 15 mile out.

How deep was it 20 miles from the pass?
We have gone out that way and never found water deeper than 20'.

Glad your boat handled well! 20 miles out of grand isle and you will.be in 40'-60'.

25 miles out of FWC is around 60ft. It's way shallower due south of marsh island
