Default Long & Crazy Fish Slam

My plan today was to bring my crew to smash some trout but the wind quickly shut that down. We left out of Tradewinds at daylight. The 20 kt wind was howling when we got to the bay and I tried to buck the 3 footers but it was too cold and wet. We turned around and put the boat back on the trailer, hoping to save the day with redfish back in Dularge. We got some bait crabs and I tied on some spoons to chunk in the duck ponds. We saw a few fish and caught 2, just under 20 inches. Since it didn't look promising back there we decided to go for the bulls. In a few minutes Tommy Leblanc was hooked up on a bruiser. I noticed the wind had quit and my wheels started spinning. Next up Pat Landry smoked another bruiser. It was already 1:00 but I had speckled trout on my mind. I told everyone to pack it up we were going to catch trout. I pointed the Blue Wave south into the emerald green water of the gulf. We got to the spot and everything looked incredible. I mean, this looked like some of the best trout territory I've seen since last summer. So we started throwing the double rigs and worked the area until I made a cast resulting in two hefty trout at a time. BANG. It's on. The rest is history and my crew worked 'em over pretty good. This was the longest day I've had in a long time but I kept pushing the limits hoping we would strike silver. And we did.

Very nice. Those extra couple hours you put in will pay very good dividends in the form of recommendations and rebooking
