Default Big Lake 5/11

Went to the lake to try out the new trim tabs and ended up catching about 8 nice specs in the 2-3lb range. Found some not to crappy water at the south end.

Cormie's should put out a red carpet for all the customers. You have to wait in line 5 or 6 deep just to check out.

I wonder what is bank account looks like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Default Monday eve.

I went monday eve & picked up 7 just before dark from 2-4lbs. Went back yesterday eve & the lake got slick for a little while & just before dark wind started picking back up, then got worse, a solid 25-30 out of the SE. The lake got BAD real quick! No trout & a wet @ss! Did see a deer walking the bank on the east side, that was pretty cool.

went yesterday... fished north end, nothing but trash fish, loaded up and went towards cameron, caught 7 keeper reds from 18" to 25" and called it a day. I will never launch at spicers again, the rejects at hackberry seafood are the biggest a$$holes i've met. I wasnt even causing a wake, and they were motioning for me to slow down..... i killed my engine and hollared at them " WANT ME TO GET OUT AND PUSH THE F***ER ?? ".. then they went inside....

i'll launch at heberts or ellenders from now on.... f-that place.... its too hard to get in and out with a 21' bay boat anyways and the boat slips, i just dont feel comfortable leaving my boat in a slip RIGHT BY THE ROAD !!!!! thats stupid.... i guess im just paranoid... but...
