Default Lucky day

Went fishing yesterday in the pass, we were outside on the west not even a bite. Moved over to northside marsh Island in the cove by Michael bayou and caught three reds back to back. Saw the water was starting to come alive. Thought we were going to catch a bunch of fish but noticed a line of storms headed south from C.P. so decided we should head in. Left the island running full blast and didn't even make it halfway before what was smooth water turned into 3 foot waves. Didn't think we're going to make it for a minute the wind and rain could not see a thing somehow we made it into The yacht club to wait out the storm. Feeling lucky!

been there done that too!! lightning in front, in back, to the left and to the right of me. could not see two feet in front of me. only way to get off marsh island was w/ bread crumbs from fish finder.
