Bounce Any reports from Cameron?????

Any reports out of Cameron? I am going to try next Friday if those TITANIC sinking swells will go down. I would like to go out about 30 miles or so. The last couple of times I tried, mother nature wouldn't let me. I guess I can always bring my swimp net and light tackel gear.

What ever bites hard. Nothing in general. I went about 6 weeks ago and caught some pompano. I'd love to get some more of them. also if in green water there should still be a few lemons around also. I guess the triple tail have moved on out deeper but u never know. It doesn't look like I will make it out though with the hurricane brewing in. If nothing else it'll probley be to rough to get out there. This was going to be my last trip untill warmer weather comes back. I have a brother that has been in ENGLAND and is returning this week, he was wanting to go out. So I told him if the weather would let us I would take him out.

The Cobia have already moved to deeper water.
You might find some Snapper(Closed season) around the WC 180 area, but this time of year isn't that good for other species.
Before all the Snapper regs., I would Snapper fish on those hot, calm bluebird days instead of fighting mosqueeters in the duck blind.

thanks for the info guys. probley will fish big lake when my brother comes in and store it till june. Going out this weekend to fish big lake area and shrimp one more time before season closes. If the red river wasn't so high I would be duck hunting next weekend. It looks like it will still be closed for recreational uses.
