Default Bank Fishing

Any good bank fishing surrounding east baton rouge parish?

I've been to tickfaw, brec parks, and Blackwater conservation and everything had been a bust.

I'm thinking of trying out the plaquemine area this weekend.

Looking for catfish, panfish, and bass bites.

most all state parks have some bank fishing look em up on line. The fee is small for a 1 day pass.
The river by Baton rouge is great bank fishing for cat fish there are several sand bars that are great picnicing at low river but this time of year I'd try the west bank. Back in the day the Lsu lakes had good catfish but not sure if they restocked em.

Theres some beautiful places and good fishing around plaquemine. But I am not sure if you can access much without a boat.

Morleys is my favorite boat launch/bar/restaurant in the world!
