Nothing postitive...just rumors and hearsay. Hopes and dreams from a 3 year old thread. Hmmm... not sure about that strategy. Would have been better served investing in the FANG stocks 3 years ago. Anyway...good luck all!

Lots of positive lately. The long wait was due to government red tape at the FCC. Typical.

If you purchased when it dipped below $1 a while back it's been a great purchase. People hoping for a buyout bc of the other sat comp went crazy and so someone creates a rumor that has everyone thinking there's talks of buyout when the company hasn't said anything about a buyout. I do know they are working on relations across seas in many countries. Would like to think it is for more approvals overseas but do not know.

Default GSAT Good News

Looks like GSAT is ready .

The following statement can be attributed to Jay Monroe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Globalstar: ?Our receipt of the licenses today marks the end of the FCC regulatory process to obtain terrestrial authority over our S-band spectrum and the beginning of a new range of innovative wireless services that will benefit consumers for decades to come. We greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication of the FCC, and especially the staff of the bureaus and offices, that helped us all come together at the end of last year to reach a successful conclusion to the proceeding. We are now working with major chipset and infrastructure providers to put this spectrum to more intensive use by consumers not only in the United States, but around the world.? 8/8/17

I know I'M READY!

Remember also, globalstar is the only company in the world with globally licensed spectrum! What's that worth you think? 😎🤑

Anyone heard if they are going to go to 5g or stay on 3-4g?? Been reading a lot about them and to me that's why I haven't been able to buy them yet. Any thoughts on the matter??

It doesn't really matter. They are going to be an available asset in the LTE network. Can be used in legacy systems or future 5g.

This explains their plans.

Too bad they have never mentioned they are for sale - just rumors making people?s days longer that think of that. They are working on getting licensed in other countries.

In the community calls Jay has said he will do what is best for the company and it's share holders. The reason that they want every international license is each one raises the value of GSAT . and the more they have the more attractive the company looks to possible buyers / partners.
In it for the long haul.

And it gets worse , I hate to see this for a bunch of people. This latest news seems to me to be a calculated move that has been planned for a long time, greed at its finest .

The SEC has done a terrible job looking out for investors ! How many people such as myself have lost a LOT of hard earned money(due in part to my own ignorance) and trusting in the system and people to do the right thing .
Its one thing for a company to come on hard times and not make profit , Its another to use investors money to play games, pay their families, friends and partners huge sums for services to get the money out of the company . And as it seems in this case just take it and put it into the other company that they own.

I got out in December with a 50% loss. Figured I?d take the tax loss on my taxes at least. It?s continued to drop since then. That merger is bull crap for us minority investors.
