Default Beach 6/6

Took my brother in law out to lil Florida to try a catch a few specks on Saturday. Ended up with 11 trout and two reds. Fished from 6-930. All fished caught on purple body chart tail vortex. Most fish were in the 17" range with a couple 13-14 inchers. Had a great time with the light north winds. Got home and enjoyed grilled reds and the UL / LSU game.

Were ya'll in the 2-man Yack?

Also......did ya'll do any good outside the rocks? It looked like those people fishing outside the rocks did not stay in one spot too long.

Nope, we were in two one man kayaks. We caught them all on the outside corners of the rocks and the two reds on the gulf side in the middle of the rocks.

Saying "Just west" could be misleading. Little Florida is about 15 miles west of where Hwy 27 connects with Hwy 82 at Holly Beach.
