Great Action On The DU!
A great redfish/trout bite 'DOWN IN DULARGE'! It was a fantastic week of fishing with over 400 trout!! Lucas Benoit,Jonathan Deroche,Bruce Wilkerson,Randy Shoeman,John Duke,Pat Olivier,Craig Fusson,Jason Green, and Craig Major whacked the trout with trips Wednesday through Saturday. Lucas Benoit & Jonathan Deroche added 14 reds along with their 34 trout with everything caught on blueback & glow/chartreuse swim baits. Some days we fished mornings and other days on afternoon trips having the same success. Limits just about every day we fished!! The trout have been caught in 4-10ft depths while the reds were caught in the ditches near the duckponds. We sightfished the reds as their backs were out the water as they were running the banks feeding on small minnows. Looking forward to another great week of 'catching' if the weather permits.
