Default Texas Trout Stocking

How can you stock so many Specks and other saltwater and still say you dont have any fish and still need to reduce limits

haha....all kidding aside....

Well look at the numbers....out of 24 million eggs, they only got 815k fingerlings = 3%

All those fingerlings will not survive and the % is usually around 1% or less for survival, so in theory, they are releasing about 8k catchable trout into Galveston Bay System.

Hopefully BP will pony up and give LA a fish hatchery, which if all goes to plan, will be here in Lake Charles area.
