I would love to see the look on some of these guys face when they hook into a red fish and think they got a big bass then have that sucker pop up....

Yep.....I read on bassmaster.com that they have been catching redfish. The guys that have zero experience in the brackish waters will likely waste time fishing areas bass don't live. Very unique tournament curious to see the outcome.

Just watched a vid with paluniak said he only caught 1 keeper in 3 days of practice. Every day is different though no doubt.

If this event has any semblance of a local favorite it's Dennis Tietje. He lives nearby on Toledo Bend. We just learned he blew out his motor, less than an hour from takeoff. He was the second angler to take off this morning.
This will be a setback for Tietje, but because the fishing is expected to be slow, we expect Tietje will have time to get back in the game.


I wonder if he has a second boat?
