Question Good Duck Hunting Guide

A friend and I are looking to schedule a guided duck hunt.

He did some google searches and found "Bin There Hunting" in Welsh.
They charge $150/person and an $80 guide fee.

I have no clue who I should use. Figured that someone on here would be able to point me in the right direction.

I would hate to pay for a duck hunt and not get to throw some lead at em.

Anyone have any advice on who to use and who to stay away from?

Thanks in advance.

Can't recommend a guide, but I do recommend that you refrain from throwin lead at them. Try steel

Live in Lafayette and my buddy is from Baton Rouge.
Don't mind driving an hour or so in either direction.

Mostly worried about having a good experience.

Are you looking for a show up in the morning hunt or the lodge experience?

What kind of pricing do they have for lodging and hunt? Is the lodging private to whoever books it, or does it sleep like 20 people and everyone shares it?

Deadly D is usually on em and kills both specks and ducks. Jadams did well last year but I haven't seen any reports yet this year.

I don't have Facebook but I found Doug's Hunting Lodge in Gueydan online.

It doesn't have prices listed.
Would you be able to tell me the cost or do I need to call to get that info?

Ah, sorry. I'm not good at reading sarcasm. I haven't been to Doug's, but I know several people who have and they all speak highly of their experiences

U can throw lead at em 4 doves a month b4 in the same field and use lead weights that come off strings. But no lead during duck season...I hate this rule I have a client that only shoots lead bc he claims he got a ticket and it was only 50$ so he figured the money he'd save on shells would be worth a ticket... I'm not gonna stop him... I didn't see anything

I'd go with Doug's hunting lodge. I guide there too and we been doing good. I just started there this year so I'm not 100% sure on info on lodging and pricing. Call them and they'd gladly tell you everything you need to know.
