Buzzbait in burnett bay...Calcasieu River

Had a couple bass come in the boat draggin' a slow buzz bait through burnett (girlscout) bay a few evenings ago. Water was decent...skeeters horrible.

Usin' black and blue....small and slow seemed to be what they wanted. and dark... I tied on a sexy shad counter strike 3/8oz for a while and nothin...picked up those two on a black/blue 1/4oz squeaker.

Anybody having luck with buzz, plugs or frogs on the Calcasieu? I'd love to get into some lillies w/ a spro..

I finesse fish more often than not, but have been known to thow a buzzer or chug bug now and then...
