Does anyone know if the store at Calcasieu Pt Landing have live shrimps or croakers?

I was there this past Sunday and Tuesday ... They did not have any live bait as of then.

There are shrimp at Calc point. And shrimp and croakers at Hebert's.

Just in case cal point is out. IS there any place close by where I can try to cast net for some?

Cal Point didn't have any live shrimp Thursday(5/21). The North end is so fresh right now they are having trouble keeping them alive in the tanks using the channel water. Spicers and Davis are far enough South, I think they still have them.

You can probably find some finger mullet and shad up by the banks around the grass, but shrimp...not unless you go to the wiers
