Very NICE!! we were to go up this weekend but didn't, not much has been done to the house with all the weather in the last two weeks. makes it hard for a roofer to work.

Marty, give a shout if you want to hit the White River. I range from Calico Rock to Norfork to Cotter. I can also be found in Bay St. Louis, MS and the Biloxi Marsh for the big ones.

Careful.... careful..... cause Ill hit you up!

I have fished the White, from the dam down to about Gastons, as well Georges creek, and Clear creek? Once we get moved up there Ill have to buy another boat for the river, Ill keep my bay boat for the lakes as well when I go to the gulf. Been to Calico Rock once, nice little town!

Used to be able to catch nice small is right in Yellville under the bridge in the park. Had to fight the cotton mouths for them though. Let me know if you need help or info on selecting a river drift boat.

There is a restaurant right there use to be called the front porch, its now something else, but they have some good home cooked eats.

Oh Ill be looking for a boat soon, whats a decent boat run price wise? I was surprised that most of those boats are runnin a 20 hp or less. I did notice that they use a section of chain as the drift anchor off the front end, never seen that before.

Wow, just wow! That is the very definition of serenity. Judicious removal of a few trees on the downslope will give you a stunning year round view. Is this the thread where you will announce the date of the housewarming party? If so, I'll subscribe.
