Dance Toledo Bound

Headed back up to the camp at Toledo at 3 pm. Anyone have any recent patterns they'd like to share? I fish mainly Indian Creek, Buck Cree, TX Islands and Mill Creek. Have never been as far north as 6 Mile but willing to travel if good. TIA

Default Toledo Bound

We fished Indian Creek and buck creek the northwest Coves are full of beds we fished the points going into those coves in caught well on suspending jerk baits most of the fish we saw on beds were non-keepers and very skittish everyone was fishing the same spots but fish are pre-spawn spawn and postspawn so you can pretty much catch em where you want

Thanks for the report. I fished a short while Saturday AM in Buck Creek. Tried to make it to Mill but the fog was so dang thick I didn't want to chance it. Saw tons of bass on beds but all had lockjaw. Had a rookie partner who, everytime he cast a jerkbait, would end up in the grass and I had to repeatedly motor over to unhook him! gave up around 10:30 and headed in. Tried to fish sat PM but the kids just wanted to boat ride. Oh, well next time!

Heads up . . TPW is spraying for giant salvinia and saw grass . . And as a side effect the hydrilla has disappeared . . This is in Six Mile . . I have a camp on the north side of six mile close to the main lake . . I was all over and did not see any grass . . Bite died 3/18 . .
