Bounce Bird watching can be very productive - 5/27/2018

EARLY MORNING BIRD WATCHING GOOD FOR CATCHING FISH
Many fish were caught this past week by our fishermen chunkin live shrimp and soft plastics under a cork at groups of gulls picking at shrimp being driven to the surface by hungry trout. Sometimes limits were quick and other times it took a little longer. Redfish continue to be good along the rocks on both sides of the ship channel on live bait. Fishing will only get better as we get into June. Good solid trout will start to show up on the rock groins along the beach as well as some of the short rigs just a few miles to the south. If you have a cast net bring it along to score yourself some small finger mullet along the channel. They make great trout and redfish bait. Call the office toll free at 888.762.3391 and get one of the ladies to get you hooked up with a trip over here and see why we are called the "Speckled Trout Capital of the world." http://hackberryrodandgun.com/fishing/fishing-gallery/
