Nice bird and welcome to the addiction.... Took me 4-5 years to get my first bird on my own. Now I am an addict and travel from March to May to get my fix.

Congrats on the kill. My season is kind of conflicted due to a new born last Wednesday. But I was able to make one hunt the Tuesday before. Luckily I connected at 7:05 am with a jake. Now I gotta live vicariously through everyone else killing lol. Nothjng like hearing that gobble in the spring woods at daybreak.

Yep he's ruined for life.
Nice bird man. Congrats. The rest are great but there is something about the first one. When that pic is of your boy's first one. Yeah you know what that will mean. Congrats bro. Many long beards to come I hope

Thanks guys. I hunt about 400yards from my moms house and we started seeing birds around 10 years ago. I decided to give it a shot and it payed off. It is a pretty good rush I must say, like killing a deer if you ask me!!
