Didn't hunt as much as I would like to this year due to graduation... but made some memorable trips with my boy.

We did alright for us as well, we hunt only public and only weekends. We ended with 199 ducks. We killed 3 4 man limits, and several 3 man limits, which is great for us.

Hunted the same blind I have hunted for the last 5 years. Hunted 60 days with a total of 1073 birds. A little above average on total number as well as number of mallards. Like many mentioned, we did not see the number of teal we have in the past.

They were AT my blind, yes. Never made it IN though. They were clearly lost. Probably just came from noodles hole to check out my hen bouncing from a safe distance...

Got my young un on some birds this year as well. Very memorable year as most would expect with this being his first year to tag along. He loved it. I think he liked the kayak ride to the boat more than anything. Now he's ready for "Fishing season".

These were all combinations of hunts at my marsh in Vinton, Johnson Bayou, and a few friends places where I was able to tag along.
