Its a long read but it shows were all the money has been spent or will be spent. Every coastal project is listed even on the parish level. Of particular interest would be construction dates, deadlines and costs. 2014 and 2015 will be when the big money is spent on engineering and development for restoration construction.

There will be a public meeting next week in Lake Charles where folks are invited to submit comments. They are depending on the public to offer their thoughts, so I would encourage you to attend if you are so inclined.


The meeting will be next Wednesday , January 25 from 1pm to 7:30pm at the Lake Charles Civic Center (Contraband Room).
