Default Stand up fishing mods

Sweet modification to my Native Ultimate 14.5 Solo. Very stable stand up leaning post. The Stand N Fish system is well built and flat works. Easy to remove from the kayak in less that a minute - simply remove 6 SS pins. The additional height will be a big plus sight casting in the skinny water.

You beat me to it! I was thinking of adding something similar... A butt post. That looks nice. Does it mess with you sitting and casting?

I like the elevation and casting is really easy. I cast low and underhand quite a bit. If you go with the stick it pin and carry an extra rod, you just need to keep that in mind.

Padding is unrestricted for me at 5ft 7in. You could cheat the sponsons back if needed though. Very stable set up. I paddle from the foot board, or just slide it over and use the yak seat, for longer open water treks.

Thinking about maybe getting an SUP paddle for the extra length, but my graphite Yak paddle is fine for now.
