Nice catch! Cool kids!! What kind of bait were you using and did you have to deal with a lot of Gaftops?

We used live bait under popping cork only caught 1 gaftop. we got to the reef around 2 fish a little then left went to hell hole caught some live bait. Headed back and every shrimp we put on they swallowed it. If we didnt have to leave it we would have caught more. Lossed some at the boat. Some just weren't hook.

Default VB yesterday p.m.

Launched at about 2 p.m. in a little rain. Tried Weeks Bay and caught several trout, but lost several also. Then tried the TP, Blue Point, Cove, Hammock and then back to WB. Almost no current at all in spite of the tide forecast for a big drop all afternoon. When we got back to the landing, the water was just as high as when we left. Guessing the wind held back the tidal drop.

I was just as far north on the west side. It was going out all morning, but switched around 11.

I was in Weeks Bay myself yesterday and it was some tough fishing yesterday. I think I threw everything I had in my tackle box of them and tried lots of spots. Really rough day on the water.
