Yeah, I doubt that'll ever happen. Bill Kenner is making great money with his 22'. In my opinion, he'll never make one.

Blackjack is a nice boat. But if I had 60k burning a hole in my pocket and was in the market for a v-haul then I would go place an order on a Trans Sport XLR8 that would be pretty well loaded for that price. Also the XLR8 is heck of alot faster. A 2208 with a 300 Yamaha Vmax will touch 74. Plus Frank and Donny will take care of you there. Service is top notch.

May be a nice boat, but that rising bow will kill you and your back on our lake. Blackjack is in a different class than Tran boats. Finished hull vs a rolled edge. Plus, one doesn't buy a blackjack for speed. They buy for the fit and finish of a high quality boat.

Just my opinion...

I agree, I have said it before if Haynie wasn't such a good "guide" boat and low maintenance I would be in a BlackJack!

I heard rumors of a 23ft Frontier in the works and just called K2 to confirm. The person that I spoke to said that the only new hull in progress is the 25ft BlackJack which would be out by the end of 2013 if production goes as planned.

It's real! Minn Kota is coming out with a 185lb thrust 48 volt trolling motor just for this 25' boat....that's what the hold up is ;-P

Look for the 1st showing of the new 25' blackjack to be next year during the late boat show season.

A 23' Frontier is being planned but will be out at some point after the new blackjack.

The draft is the same. Not much bow rise either.

Tran is a nice boat but doesn't compare to the BlackJack. I fished out of one on Trinity and got beat up and soaking wet, but hey, it went fast

As a BlackJack owner I can tell you it was bought for fit and finish and quality. It fishes WAAAAY bigge rthan any other 22ft boat. As for the talk of the 25ft, IT IS COMING!
