Default S.E. Jr's and green trout!

Here's a few pics from a pond last Sunday. Broke out some Sand Eel Jrs. on a gold spinner. I was invited to fish a pond in MS on my brother-in-law's family land. Cool place, fo sho! I had a great time walking the banks. It's what I grew up doing. Most fish weighed 1 to 1.5 lbs. I caught and photo'd 3. All fish were released back to the water immediately following pics and hook removal.

Thanks to CatDaddy for helping me to get the photos uploaded!!! I'm sure he is thinking!! LOL Here they are though!

Nice, I used to catch green trout when I was a kid.

Here's a question and debate from another website:

Is a green trout the same thing as a Bass? ....GO...

I had never heard them called green trout till I came to this site and I thought it was more humor than ideal. Largemouth bass is what I grew up callin em. Like Jordan said of Crappie, here, it's sac-a-lait. That one took me a while to figure out when I got to paradise!

Swap snorkler, I see you are from Raceland. I am too, I live in Cut Off now, but I was born and raised on Bayou Folse Rd. We used to catch them Green Trout (Bass) all day long down there.

I'm disappointed, that question about the green trout, on another forum, went for 3 pages worth of arguing.
