Default Stormy weather trip 4-30-2017

Rock and Roll Trek (Rockefeller or Rollover) after the stormy weather this afternoon. Most of the fish were caught
on live shrimp that we caught via cast net.

Nice. You wouldn't have guessed tornado watch and 30 mph winds hours earlier.

Yes...and the bite lasted pretty good, over 2-3 hrs. We threw 50 +/- Dinks back which is not very common for this general area, and we didn't target Red's till the last 15 minutes of our trip.

Initially it was almost cold, then warmed up around 4-5 PM. The crabs seemed to be cooperating well also. Kinda made me feel good to see 4 college kids, out on their own in a 14' Flat w/ an old 25 hp OB, catching a bunch of crabs for a school gathering later that day (Sunday...before Finals). A girl with the bunch, was trying to count how many crabs they had caught with a small pair of pliers. It was a slow process, but they were close to their 12 dozen limit !! They were crabbing off a weir. That kind of narrows it down to about 35 locations.

How did y'all find the trout? Under birds or just following the bank with shrimp under a cork? Was this at rollover or rockafella? Makes a huge difference
