Marquise & Kiaunte Kennebrew, Johnny Nelson, and Jason Doward from Georgia have been wanting to fish with me for two years!! The guys dreams came true today and finally stepped onto the Bluewave. We departed the lodge at daybreak and had the yellow mouths flying over the gunnel one after another!!! The guys were experiencing in real life what they have been watching in our videos for years!!! Burnhacks, laughs, cutting up, and just a good ole time we were having. Tiger Bait, Green Hornet, and Midnight Mullet Matrix Shad was putting a hurt on the fish. Once the wind picked up we switched over to corks and the Reel Dat Shrimp and Matrix Shad continued to produce. Once the trout bite shut down, we switched gears to redfish! Well the reds didn't cooperate but the small puppy drum in the 16-17 inch range showed face. The guys had a blast reeling them in and the catching party continued!!!! Good times and such a memorable trip with these guys. Looking forward to their return.
