Cement weir. Nothing under 27 inches. 29-31 inch fish until the wardens open it up. Lots of them too!
Your welcome. |

We were at Rockafeller yesterday and didnt do much. We didnt try LSU, but tried structure 4 (4 crabs in 30 minutes)and the mud hole, a couple of guys had 8 dozen crabs, but it took 5 hours to get them. Too many cold fronts messing things up.

Yeah I made a few throws and got a couple of small crabs. Still a little early.

Is there a map with these weirs on it? I know the mud hole, but not the LSU or the cement weir, where are they? My daughter wants to learn how to go crabbing. Oh yeah, and does anyone know when shrimp season opens in Rockefeller? Thanks.

Thanks. That does help alot. I've never been to the LSU weir. I also didn't know you could catch 10 lb. if the season isn't open. I guess that is so you can catch bait, too. Anyway, thanks for the help. I'll post how we do.
