Cheers Busting Specks 5-21

We knew it was going to be calm conditions today, and expected a good bite. The water was clean when we arrived on location and the trout were waiting on us. Double rigged Matrix Shad went to work, and the trout ate them up. Today's bite was a bit different than it has been. The fish would feed aggressive for a few minutes, then shut down completely. Then all of a sudden feed aggressive again. Once this bite was over, we made a move and started catching again. A slow steady retrieve with a occasional twitch seemed to work best. We had a great time and caught some really nice fish. Thanks guys and thanks Brandy Parker for putting the trip together.
