That's over the top !

Looks like awesome hunts and awesome mounts.

Congrats on the whole package !

I've done some glassing for bighorn in the Black Hills of South Dakota with a friend of mine who was drawn for a resident tag there.

It sure was different than your regular whitetail WMA hunting here ... LoL

Thanks! I love getting these trophies back , the last piece of the puzzle ! The preparing for the trip , the actual hunt/ stalk , the celebration after recovering your kill, then the trophy which brings back all the emotions, memories, even makes me remember what the animal smelled like ! That skull mount... I had to sit down to take the shot and when I was getting into position I put my hand into a cactus... When I got the skull mount back today I could vividly remember the feeling of the cactus thorns rubbing on my trigger gaurd as I swueezed it! Man I love this sh**

I love it! That painted desert sheep was my second attempt at one, I hunted for 4 days trying to get one on my previous trip . Rugged terrain , very skiddish animals . I really enjoy watching them and trying to figure out how in the heck you are going to 1) get close enough to shoot and 2) how you are going to be able to get to it to recover it w/o falling !

That's awesome.

Reading your post sure shares the passion you have for it.

The part of having to take a long range precision shot ( in most cases ) on unfamiliar terrain is what has me intrigued.

Shooting different elevations and wind is a lot different than shooting here in Louisiana where everything is relatively flat and the wind is not constat and swirling from different angles.

What rifle/optic/caliber you have in the pic ?
