Default South Kaplan Specklebelly Hunt
Decided to brave the weather this morning. Man was it worth it; sleet and ice didnt bother us
Set out about 25 hard body decoys.
Took us longer to get the spread out than to get a limit. 6 specks and a bonus Ross

We got one real big body but they keep landing in between the houses and the field east of us
no wind and a frozen pond don't help.

We were hunting a plowed field this morning. Birds never really did move much. They had a big body just on the other side of the highway. From us. We ended up with 2.

Meauxfishing passed by my big body about 4:45 they still hadn't moved. I'm afraid they feed tonight. Thinking about sitting out tomorrow morning.

I'm gonna hunt Monday or Tuesday to make up for it. Then I'm doing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to close out. Last 3 days the weather will me good.
