Default Quick SOLO hunt WED....

Was very foggy but managed a few.....killed a nice pair of WIGEONS....and a few bonus geese (Spec and Blue).

There are a lot of ducks and geese in the South Kaplan area but they are well educated due to it being late in the season!

Sucks that the season is about to end......

Big-C, we have had a pretty good year so I cannot complain. If we would of had more teal in the 2nd split our numbers would be up more. After today (see my new thread) we are right at 250 ducks (not counting teal season) with 43 mallards killed. For some reason, last year which was the worse for us in several years we only shot 4 mallards when we normally kill right at 50 a year. Here is hoping we can all kill a few more before SUN.

That's strange how that works, you say last year was the worst in a few years, last year was the best in the last 10 for me and this year was slower than last,we are about 100 birds lower than last year.
