Here are the pics of my dog bringing back some specks from yesterday...notice the last pic has a shot of another speck laying belly up behind the dog....Left the blind a 8 today and the geese had just started to move...had 4 mallards and 5 teal today...not a lot moving...ready for a front to move the birds.

I think if we could get rid of some of our water that we could do a little better on ducks and much better on the specks....we have about 4 inches too much.

Went down to Creole today. The refuge just North of the Gibstown bridge had hundreds of ducks flying around and thousands of geese landing in the area on the East side of
the road.
There are some down, but they already know were the safe spots are.

our marsh has been high for quite a while in johnsons bayou but is only getting higher now, im about to get in the grass and see if i can't increase my numbers. Theres a few spots that are now flooded grass that the birds are hanging around. It'll just be hard to hunt with a dog there because I'll be sitting in water but I'll figure something out. It won't be bad if its not cold.
