A couple of the google eyes I caught were no doubt the biggest I had ever caught.

If you use tube jigs you can insert a nibble inside the body of the jig.

Default Jiggin

I had my cork about 3-1/2 ft from my jig just poppin it every now and then. I just put the nibble on the tip of the hook and it held up pretty good. i know once it hit the water it wasnt sittin for long. Yea throwin a beetle spin is fun, but when you can sit in one spot for few hours and pull em in one right after the other it hard to change tactics.

Get a small hypodermic and put the nibletts in it, then just squeeze some into the tube.

I have one of these it's works good. The nibbles are to thick to push through a syringe.

Default Tip

I'll give you a tip about Nibbles I've been doing for years. Put "new" nibbles in a bisquit pan in front of the exhaust fan on the fridge. Let them dry till they are firm. They won't fall off nearly as much. A warning though, the wife will holler about stinking up the house(LOL). In that case you could sun dry them a bit. Caution don't "over dry" them.

Redaddiction, jchief, I make oil - Great advice on the nibblets and injecting. I use panfish assasins mostly so I can't insert. What lake runner said about drying them out is true, although I am not sure the Mrs. will get into the refrigerator deal. I put some out on the gunale of the boat and let the sun hit them for awhile and it sure does help them stay on the hook. when I smush em I just get em wet and then rub a dub.
