Default Caney Lake... anyone know this lake?

Up here at Caney Lake with my family staying at jimmy davis state park, beautiful lake and park up here. The skiing/tubing has been awesome, everything great except for the fishing! Heard the pan fishing was awesome up here BUT i have only caught 2 in 3 trips! I have tried both crickets and cold worms, even jigs..nothing...i've fished the tree tops, drop offs, creeks, you name it...tried bass fishing for some of them big caney lake bass, nothing...tried everything....going to be here for another 3 days so i got time to savage the fishing...if anyone knows anything about this lake please let me know what i need to do to put fish in the boat! thanks..

Default Caney

Haven't fished there in a year or so but try the north west corner of the lake for Bass go under the bridge second cove on the right throw in the middle. Also in the north west side but stay to the left of the penninsula but the right of the fork past the houses throw in the middle. Also the southwestern most point I think, (may be be second or third) has a brush pile on the bottom east side of the point there is a pier there. Hope this helps.
